Start from zero and build a trip.
This is the normal path for a new traveler: landing page, account, country, route, memories, and sharing.
Open Roamories and click Let's Go
The landing page plays the Roamories travel story. Use Restart, Pause, and Sound controls if needed, then click Let's Go to enter the app.
Create Account or Sign In
Create an account with name, email, and password, or sign in to continue an existing trip. Your trips, private documents, expenses, and memories stay tied to your account.
Start a New Trip
After signing in, click New. Choose a country or build a multi-country route. Roamories loads a live map and destination catalog for your selected destination.
Enter Departure City and Dates
Use airport codes such as SFO, SEA, CVG, LAX, HND, or SGN, or enter a city. Add From Date and To Date so the route timeline, stop cards, weather, and photo book can follow your schedule.
Choose Stops or Use AI Suggest
Select recommended cities and places, search for a missing destination, or click AI suggest for destination ideas. You can add the same city more than once for different dates.
Adjust Each Stop
For every stop, edit dates, days, nights, notes, and transportation method: Air, Ground, Sea, or Cable Car. The map animation changes to match the chosen transportation style.
Save the Route
Click Save route. Your trip becomes reusable, shareable, and available later from Saved Trips. Saved routes also support shared itinerary discovery.
Open Destination Details
Click a stop marker to expand the destination details. The destination panel shows date range, weather forecast, uploaded media, Instagram discovery, AI Trip Concierge, expenses, and upload tools.
Share or Keep Private
Use the Share checkbox on each photo or video to decide what appears in public share links. Documents and receipts remain private to the signed-in user.
What each major function does.
Use this as a quick user manual when introducing Roamories to friends, family, travelers, or partners.
Where are we going?
Pick the destination country or countries for the trip. Roamories switches catalogs, maps, country highlighting, and destination suggestions around that choice.
Map your trip visually
The route is drawn on a real zoomable map with animated air, ground, sea, and cable car movement between stops.
Ask about each stop
Ask about food, weather, safety, timing, local tips, logistics, or what to do next. Food and local-service questions can open Google Maps search HUDs.
Upload photos and videos
Add travel photos and clips by stop. Mark each item Share or Do not share. Shared items appear to friends and family through the trip link.
Documents and expenses
Upload flight reservations, hotel confirmations, receipts, and notes. Track expenses by amount, currency, category, and date.
Create a trip photo book
Roamories can turn the timeline into a chapter-style photo book with flipbook, cinematic, editorial, and postcard layouts, then create a shareable link.
Build a trip in 60 seconds
Choose your country, first city, travel dates, and departure airport or city. Roamories uses the airport and city catalog to create an editable starter route immediately.
Plan together
Invite friends or family to help shape the itinerary. Collaborators can review the route, coordinate decisions, and keep trip planning in one shared place.
Share or copy an itinerary
Create an animated Trip Reveal with routes, stops, dates, and photos. Visitors can preview a public trip, adjust dates or stops, and save their own version when ready.
Build realistic travel days
Generate Relaxed, Balanced, or Packed schedules that consider opening hours, travel time, meals, weather, reservations, pace, children, and accessibility needs.
Understand the trip cost
Compare estimated and actual spending, calculate daily and per-traveler costs, convert currencies, split expenses, and explore ways to make the itinerary more affordable.
Import booking details
Upload a confirmation PDF or screenshot to extract flights, hotels, trains, cars, tours, and restaurants. Review every extracted detail before saving it to the timeline and map.
Use Roamories during the trip
Open a simplified Today view for the next reservation, navigation, weather and alerts, nearby essentials, today’s documents, emergency information, and offline access.
Trip Setup panel reference.
Name the route, such as Vietnam Summer 2026, Japan Spring Trip, or Europe Family Route. This name appears in Saved Trips and shared itinerary discovery.
Enter your starting airport or city. Airport codes help Roamories place the departure point accurately and draw the correct departure route.
Set the whole trip date range. Each stop can then be scheduled inside that range and displayed on the map labels, destination modal, and photo book timeline.
Select destination chips, use AI suggest, or search/add a place manually. You can select the same city more than once when your route returns there later.
Fine-tune stop length and dates. This controls the stop label, weather forecast date range, route timing, and itinerary timeline.
Choose Air, Ground, Sea, or Cable Car above the note box for each stop. Roamories uses that method for the map segment animation.
Stores the trip to your account and enables share links, saved trip loading, photo book creation, private document organization, and shared itinerary copying.
